ACTL 2022

The Language and Linguistic Science Department will be hosting the Advanced Core Training in Linguistics (ACTL) course June 27 - July 1, 2022. Sponsored by the Universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Essex, Oxford, Queen Mary University of London, SOAS, UCL, and York, ACTL is a five day intensive workshop aimed at providing advancing linguistics students with additional training in core areas. This year, we're pleased to be hosting four distinguished instructors in the areas of Phonology, Psycholinguistics, Semantics, and Syntax:

• Andrew Nevis (UCL; Phonology)

• Jesse Harris (UCLA; Psycholinguistics)

• Ilaria Frana (Universeity of Enna "Kore"; Semantics)

• Jim McCloskey (UCSC; Syntax)
